matchups in which the home team's name is a "kangaroo word" of the visiting team's name

NBA: Denver at New Jersey NUGGETS
NHL: Columbus at St Louis BLUEJACKETS
NBA: Seattle at Phoenix SUPERSONICS

—contributed by Paul LeGere, who offers this explanation:
Kangaroo words are words that hide within their letters another word, in order. Pure kangaroo words have the same basic definition or "sense" as the mother word—e.g. CHARISMA—but for these purposes, the master definition can be "possible opponent." Also, there should be intervening letters. REDSox does not work as a Kangaroo word, but REDSKINS does, other than the fact the Redskins would never play the Reds. (HORNETS doesn't really work, for the "all consecutive" reason.)
