TROUBLE AND STRIFE / TEAPOT LIDS / CHINA PLATES

Cockney rhyming slang for the people closest to me:

"Trouble and strife" means "wife".
"Teapot lids" means "kids".
"China plates" means "mates" (i.e. "friends").

In everyday usage, of course, only the first word is used, as in:
"I told me trouble and me teapots I was goin' out with me chinas for a bit."
